Hospitality / Restaurants. DJRS Hospitality is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and proactive HR Associate with prior experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry to support day-to-day human resources operations in Mumbai. The HR Associate will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for diverse positions across restaurant outlets and head office teams, including volume hiring for frontline and culinary roles such as Captains, Stewards, Bartenders, Chefs, Commis, Kitchen staff, and Restaurant Managers. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates via job portals, social media platforms, professional references, and recruitment agencies, screening resumes against operational requirements, coordinating closely with heads of departments regarding open vacancies, and scheduling both virtual and in-person interviews. The role demands continuous candidate follow-up, managing feedback loops, executing documentation verification, maintaining comprehensive applicant tracking systems, and ensuring the timely closure of open positions. On the operational front, the associate will oversee the full employee lifecycle, managing onboarding logistics, joining documentation, personal file maintenance, and exit formalities. Additional duties involve monitoring daily attendance and leave records via HRMS software, handling regularizations, assisting in monthly payroll and incentive reporting, coordinating with outlet managers for pending records, and promptly resolving routine employee queries and workplace grievances. The executive will also drive internal communication of company policies, coordinate employee engagement and training initiatives, and be open to visiting outlets when required. Candidates must hold a Graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline, alongside 1 to 3 years of hands-on HR experience in hotels, cafes, or restaurant operations. Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel is essential, including proficiency in formulas such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUM, COUNTIF, and sorting filters for generating MIS and workforce reports, supported by strong organizational, follow-up, and communication skills.
