About the Role
Synapmed is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with proven experience in recruiting within the Contract Research Organization CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the specialized talent landscape across pharmacovigilance, drug safety, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, medical information, clinical development, RWD/RWE, HEOR, quality and compliance, technology, and corporate functions.
As a CRO Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle and work closely with business leaders and functional heads to build high-quality teams supporting Synapmed's growing global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from requirement understanding and sourcing through screening, interview coordination, offer management, closure, and onboarding coordination.
Partner with business leaders and functional heads to understand specialized hiring requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals, professional networks, headhunting, and direct sourcing.
Recruit across specialized CRO and life sciences functions including Pharmacovigilance PV, Drug Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Clinical Development, RWD/RWE, HEOR, Quality & Compliance, and related scientific functions.
Support recruitment across technology, data, product, engineering, business development, sales, marketing, HR, finance, operations, and other corporate functions as required.
Build and maintain specialized talent pipelines for current and future business requirements.
Conduct market mapping and talent research across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, and life sciences ecosystem.
Screen candidates for functional fit, relevant industry experience, technical capabilities, communication skills, and role requirements.
Partner with hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process and ensure timely candidate movement.
Manage candidate engagement, offer discussions, salary negotiations, and closures.
Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment data within the Applicant Tracking System ATS.
Track recruitment metrics including Time-to-Hire, Time-to-Fill, Source Effectiveness, Offer Acceptance Rate, and pipeline conversion.
Stay updated on talent availability, industry hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and evolving recruitment practices across the pharma and life sciences market.
Qualifications
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.
2ā4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.
Mandatory prior experience recruiting within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or closely related organization.
Strong understanding of the pharma, CRO, and life sciences talent ecosystem.
Proven experience hiring for specialized functions such as Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Clinical Development, RWD/RWE, HEOR, Quality & Compliance, or related functions.
Experience recruiting across technical, commercial, and corporate functions is an added advantage.
Strong sourcing, headhunting, market mapping, and talent research skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to understand specialized job requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, ATS platforms, and recruitment analytics.
Ability to manage multiple specialized hiring requirements in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
