Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to manage the complete HR function for the studio. The role will cover recruitment, payroll inputs, appraisals, employee retention, employee relations, discipline, statutory compliance, HR policies, and organizational culture. The role will report directly to the Director and work closely with studio leads.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage hiring across all levels, including interns, campus recruitment, and senior architects.
Build and maintain a pipeline of pre-screened candidates for senior positions.
Manage onboarding and induction with structured employee check-ins during the first 90 days.
Manage monthly payroll inputs on Keka and coordinate with the accounts team.
Handle annual and mid-year appraisal cycles, including calibration with team leads.
Conduct retention conversations with key employees.
Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and exit processes with proper documentation.
Handle statutory compliance related to PF, ESI, gratuity, professional tax, and POSH.
Develop and maintain HR policies and employee handbook.
Prepare monthly HR reports for the Director.
Requirements:
4 to 6 years of HR experience.
At least 2 years of experience in an architecture, design, or professional services firm.
Hands-on experience with Keka HRMS, including payroll and attendance modules.
Experience in hiring architects and understanding of the architecture industry.
Experience handling employee relations, termination, appraisal discussions, or retention negotiations.
Working knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
MBA in HR or equivalent qualification preferred.
Candidates based in Delhi NCR or Dwarka preferred.
