Job Description
2COMS is hiring a Workday Benefits & Absence Architect for its Pune location. The organization is looking for an experienced Workday professional to lead the design, configuration, and optimization of the Workday Benefits and Absence ecosystem. Immediate joiners or candidates serving a short notice period are preferred.
The selected candidate will be responsible for Workday Benefits and Absence architecture, configuring complex benefit and leave plans, ensuring compliance, supporting integrations, and driving continuous improvements across the HR technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Own the architecture and configuration of the Workday Benefits and Absence ecosystem.
Configure complex eligibility rules for benefit groups, benefit plans, leave plans, and time-off plans.
Design and configure absence plans aligned with company policies and state and federal compliance requirements.
Configure benefit plans including Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and 401(k).
Support compliance reporting including ACA, COBRA, and FMLA.
Collaborate with Workday Integration developers and third-party benefit vendors to implement and maintain integrations.
Partner with Payroll teams to validate downstream impacts and ensure payroll accuracy.
Lead regression testing for Workday releases and Benefits and Absence enhancements.
Develop Standard, Advanced, Composite, and Matrix reports.
Support Workday tenant maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.
Assist with change management, user documentation, and adoption initiatives.
Evaluate and test new Workday AI capabilities including Employee Self-Service Agent.
Requirements
4ā8 years of Workday Benefits and Absence configuration experience.
Strong expertise in Workday Benefits and Workday Absence modules.
Hands-on experience configuring eligibility rules, benefit plans, and leave and time-off plans.
Strong understanding of Benefits, Absence, HCM, and Payroll integrations.
Knowledge of FMLA, State Leave Programs, ACA, and COBRA compliance.
Experience with Workday Reporting including Standard, Advanced, Composite, and Matrix Reports.
Experience supporting Workday tenant configuration, testing, and production deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday Benefits Certification.
Workday Absence Certification.
Experience with Time Tracking integrations.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
