SGNG & Associates is a Chartered Accountancy professional firm built on the philosophy of seeing the invisible and achieving the impossible. The firm delivers audit, tax and advisory services while maintaining high standards of quality, innovation and ownership. The team is expanding and is looking for a Recruitment Specialist who will take complete ownership of the hiring function and help build a strong workforce to support the firm's continued growth.
The Recruitment Specialist will manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from understanding hiring requirements to successfully onboarding new employees. This is not a resume forwarding role. The selected candidate will work closely with partners and managers to understand staffing requirements before positions open including headcount planning, required skills, experience levels and hiring priorities. The role requires creating engaging job descriptions, publishing vacancies across appropriate recruitment platforms and attracting high-quality candidates.
Responsibilities include sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, ICAI and ICSI networks, employee referrals, WhatsApp and campus hiring initiatives. The Recruitment Specialist will screen applications, conduct first-round interviews, coordinate technical assessments and partner interviews, manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process and reduce candidate drop-offs, ghosting and offer declines through proactive engagement.
The role also includes maintaining accurate recruitment records, tracking hiring metrics, supporting onboarding activities, helping new employees settle into the organization and contributing to employer branding initiatives across LinkedIn, the careers page and the Chartered Accountancy community.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to offer and joining. Strong candidate assessment skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, multitasking ability and familiarity with job portals, applicant tracking systems and HR practices are essential. Experience hiring for professional services, finance or Chartered Accountancy firms is an added advantage. A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
