Diageo’s First Point is an HR service organisation that provides consistent and high-quality HR support to employees, Line Managers, HR Business Partners, and HR teams across multiple markets. The organisation manages a wide range of employee lifecycle processes, legal documentation, benefits administration, employee data management, policy guidance, and HR systems support.
The Senior Analyst, HR Operations is an individual contributor role responsible for accurate and timely delivery of employee lifecycle processes, documentation activities, employee data management, and HR service operations. The role manages standard and moderately complex HR requests, resolves cases escalated from the Contact Centre and other HR teams, and ensures transactions are completed according to service levels, policies, controls, and market requirements.
The selected candidate will work with HR technologies including Workday, ServiceNow, Doc Genie, and other digital platforms to maintain employee and position data, prepare documentation, maintain audit trails, and support payroll or downstream HR teams. The role requires close collaboration with HR Business Partners, Market HR teams, employees, Line Managers, Payroll teams, Talent teams, and First Point teams to deliver a seamless employee experience.
Key responsibilities include managing employee lifecycle activities such as Joiner, Mover, and Leaver processes, maintaining employee and organisational data in Workday, preparing and issuing employee documents including contracts and letters, tracking completion of documentation, and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
The role will manage ServiceNow cases from receipt to resolution, maintain complete case notes and evidence, resolve employee and manager queries, provide timely updates, manage stakeholder expectations, and escalate policy, legal, data privacy, system, or high-risk matters through appropriate channels.
The Senior Analyst will ensure compliance with HR policies, process standards, data privacy requirements, security controls, COBC, and applicable governance controls. The candidate will perform quality checks, validate transactions and documents, maintain accurate records for audits, and protect confidential employee information.
The role also contributes to operational excellence and continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, process gaps, automation opportunities, and ways to simplify HR service delivery. The candidate will support process improvement initiatives, participate in testing and implementation of system changes, and maintain updated knowledge articles, process guides, and market instructions.
The selected candidate will support business-critical HR activities including annual reward processes, organisational changes, bulk transactions, and other HR projects. The role includes knowledge sharing, supporting new Analysts and Associates, collaborating with team members during peak periods, and building expertise across HR processes, systems, and supported markets.
