Deloitte USI is hiring for the position of Engineering Lead for its Human Capital Offering Portfolio. The team develops innovative, industry-focused solutions that improve efficiency, streamline operations, and accelerate business outcomes.
The Engineering Lead will drive the engineering charter for Human Capital by building high-performing engineering teams, defining platform architecture, and delivering scalable products that support the growth of the practice. The role involves leading and mentoring engineering teams while creating a culture focused on quality, ownership, collaboration, and innovation.
Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end delivery of features and platform capabilities with predictable agile release cycles, setting technical direction across architecture, cloud modernization, scalability, security, and performance, and partnering with Product and Design teams to convert business objectives into effective execution plans. The Engineering Lead will also represent engineering with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Candidates should have 10+ years of software engineering experience with 3 to 7+ years of experience leading engineering teams. Strong expertise in Full-Stack Engineering, Agentic AI frameworks, Hyperscalers, Data Science, DevOps, technical architecture, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP is required. The ideal candidate should have experience delivering complex products from concept to production at scale, strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
