Socommerz is looking for a Senior Human Resources Specialist to oversee and optimize the complete range of HR activities supporting its growing startup ecosystem. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India.
The selected professional must be able to join within 7 days, possess excellent Talent Acquisition capabilities and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Working from the office is mandatory.
Role Responsibilities
Design, implement and regularly update HR policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals and applicable local regulations.
Manage employee lifecycle processes including recruitment support, onboarding, performance management and offboarding.
Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure employee documentation is properly managed.
Administer employee benefits including compensation, leave and other reward programmes.
Respond to employee queries and provide appropriate HR support.
Guide managers on HR-related matters, compliance requirements and employee-management processes.
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives to support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Facilitate employee training and learning activities.
Recommend and implement continuous improvements to HR practices and processes.
Support the organization’s Talent Acquisition requirements and manage end-to-end recruitment activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Human Resources and HR Management skills with experience handling end-to-end HR operations.
Applicants should have experience developing and implementing HR policies that comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Expertise in employee-benefits administration including compensation, leave and reward programmes is required.
Candidates should possess strong personnel-management skills and the ability to support employees and managers across different teams.
Knowledge of Indian labour laws, HR analytics and experience using HRIS or other HR software will be beneficial.
Strong communication, conflict-resolution and stakeholder-management skills are required.
Candidates should demonstrate a collaborative and inclusive approach while working with employees and business stakeholders.
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is typically required.
Advanced HR certifications will be considered an advantage.
Previous experience in a senior HR role, preferably within a startup or fast-paced working environment, will be highly valued.
