The company provides digital-only consumer engagement, recovery and collection solutions, helping consumer lending, retail, telecom and fintech organizations expand and grow their businesses in under-penetrated new-to-credit and thin-file segments. Datacultr helps millions of new-to-credit consumers across emerging markets access formal credit and begin their journey towards financial health. Datacultr is headquartered in Dubai, with offices in Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Manila, Ho Chi Minh City, Nairobi, Bogota, Lima and Mexico City, while its Development Center is based in Gurugram, India. The organization aims to enable convenient financing opportunities for consumers, entrepreneurs and small merchants and improve access to financial services for underserved communities. The Recruiter will collaborate with department heads and senior management to understand hiring needs and workforce planning. The role involves developing and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top technical and non-technical talent and building talent pipelines for critical roles to ensure timely hiring. The Recruiter will manage the complete recruitment cycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation and onboarding. Candidates will be sourced through job portals, social media, employee referrals and headhunting. The role includes conducting initial screening and shortlisting candidates to assess suitability. For technical recruitment, the Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and expectations, assess candidates’ technical skills and experience, coordinate technical interviews and evaluations and stay updated on market trends and in-demand skills within the fintech industry. For non-technical recruitment, the role includes hiring for business support functions such as sales, marketing, HR and operations while assessing candidates for required soft skills, experience and cultural fit. The Recruiter will support employer branding by creating engaging job descriptions, leveraging social media and representing the company at recruitment events, job fairs and campus hiring drives. The role requires building strong relationships with hiring managers, maintaining alignment on hiring requirements and providing regular recruitment pipeline updates and feedback to stakeholders. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate recruitment records, candidate interactions and feedback, tracking and analyzing recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire and quality of hire and identifying opportunities for process improvement. The Recruiter will ensure recruitment activities comply with employment laws and internal policies and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and candidate satisfaction. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field and 2 - 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a fintech or technology-driven environment. A proven track record of hiring for both technical and non-technical roles is required. Candidates should have a strong understanding of recruitment tools and platforms, including LinkedIn, Naukri and ATS systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices are required. Experience with employer branding and campus recruitment is an advantage. The position is based in Gurugram and requires working from the office five days a week. Immediate joining is possible.
