Job Description
Yext is hiring a Payroll Analyst for its Hyderabad office. Yext is an enterprise agentic marketing platform that helps global organizations manage AI search, knowledge management and digital brand presence. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and operating the company's payroll function, payroll processes and payroll systems including global payroll, commissions, bonuses, payroll taxes and related business operations. The role works closely with HR, Equity and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll execution and compliance. Responsibilities include maintaining payroll systems, executing payroll cycles for assigned entities, processing payroll transactions, commissions, bonuses and payroll taxes, preparing payroll reconciliations, managing employee stock purchase plans and restricted stock option records, resolving payroll queries, ensuring compliance with company policies, SOX requirements and regulatory standards, supporting internal and external audits, maintaining standard operating procedures, improving payroll processes, managing payroll ticketing systems, supporting labor and tax compliance, coordinating with HR, Benefits and Equity teams for compensation changes, reviewing payroll journals and general ledger entries, processing involuntary deductions such as garnishments and levies, handling quarterly and year-end adjustments and supporting payroll automation and process improvement initiatives. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of payroll experience including United States Payroll experience. Experience with Workday, International Platform, ADP Smart Compliance and strong Microsoft Excel skills are required. The role requires high accuracy, confidentiality, analytical ability and the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively. This is a full-time onsite position based in Hyderabad.
