Quadrical AI is a B2B SaaS company helping renewable energy asset owners and managers across solar, storage and wind increase plant generation and manage complex portfolios with precision. Headquartered near Toronto, Canada, the company operates globally and is scaling rapidly. Climate Data and Analytics company with 11-50 employees. This is a part-time contract opportunity for an experienced HR professional who can independently manage the complete employee lifecycle. The role focuses approximately 70% on recruitment and talent acquisition and 30% on HR operations and administration. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end recruitment, drafting and publishing job postings, sourcing, shortlisting and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, preparing offer letters, supporting contract negotiations, maintaining recruitment pipelines and providing hiring updates. The HR operations responsibilities include onboarding new employees, managing offboarding activities, maintaining HR documentation and company policies, administering leave policies, maintaining employee records, coordinating with payroll and accounting providers for compliance requirements and supporting the Senior HR Advisor on strategic HR matters. Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in small or growing companies, experience supporting multiple clients or businesses, strong recruitment skills, knowledge of onboarding and employment documentation, excellent communication and organisational abilities and the capability to work independently in a remote environment. Experience with software or technology companies, knowledge of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, payroll coordination and statutory compliance in India and collaboration platforms will be an advantage. The engagement averages 10 hours per week with workload varying based on hiring cycles. The company is looking for someone who can completely own the HR function and help build future leaders for Quadrical AI.

The Human Resources Manager will own the complete people function including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, accountability, and organizational development. Responsibilities include writing and posting job openings, sourcing and screening candidates, evaluating creative and operational talent, managing offers, contractor agreements, and worker classification, leading onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining training documentation, driving performance management through KPIs and regular one-on-one meetings, collaborating with department heads and the Director of Operations, monitoring productivity using Hubstaff and Upwork, ensuring confidentiality of employee information, identifying payroll and workforce optimization opportunities, tracking hiring and retention metrics, improving onboarding effectiveness, and supporting long-term employee retention. Candidates should have experience hiring for e-commerce or DTC brands, strong expertise in performance management, stakeholder management, HR systems, recruitment, organizational planning, and employee development. Experience with Hubstaff, Upwork, ATS or HRIS platforms such as Deel or Gusto, and managing remote international teams will be an added advantage.
