Job Description
Home Credit India is looking for an Assistant Manager Learning and Development to lead Learning and Development and Organizational Development initiatives that enhance employee capability, performance, and organizational effectiveness. This role combines strategic Learning and Development with Organizational Development practices to align people strategies with business objectives while supporting a high-performance and growth-oriented work culture.
The selected candidate will conduct Training Needs Analysis and organizational assessments to identify capability gaps and design effective learning strategies. The role includes designing, delivering, and evaluating instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, and e-learning programs to strengthen technical, behavioral, and leadership competencies across the organization.
The Assistant Manager will drive Organizational Development initiatives including change management, organizational restructuring, employee engagement surveys, action planning, succession planning, high-potential development programs, and Individual Development Plans. The role also involves creating leadership development programs, promoting coaching and mentoring culture, and supporting long-term talent development strategies.
The position requires managing relationships with external training vendors, monitoring Learning and Development budgets, ensuring cost-effective program delivery, utilizing Learning Management Systems and analytics to measure training effectiveness, return on investment, and employee engagement metrics. The candidate should maintain continuous improvement in learning initiatives through data-driven insights and best practices.
Applicants should have more than 5 years of progressive experience in Learning and Development or Organizational Development roles. A Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field is preferred. Candidates must have strong knowledge of instructional design models, Organizational Development principles, and adult learning theories. Proficiency in Learning Management Systems, e-learning authoring tools, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Excel is desirable. Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills are essential. This is a five-day work-from-office role operating in the general shift.
