The Assistant Manager – Human Resources will provide strategic direction and leadership to the organization’s talent acquisition function while aligning recruitment strategies with long-term business goals. The role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end hiring processes across multiple geographies and ensuring high-quality, timely, and cost-effective talent acquisition. The position focuses on building a future-ready workforce through innovative sourcing strategies, employer branding initiatives, workforce planning, and leadership hiring programs.
The selected candidate will develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with long-term business objectives while forecasting future hiring requirements based on workforce planning and organizational growth plans. Responsibilities include driving employer branding initiatives in key talent markets through targeted campaigns, university engagement programs, social media outreach, and collaboration with leadership teams to strengthen the employee value proposition.
The role requires leading continuous improvements in recruitment policies, processes, and systems to ensure scalability, operational efficiency, and compliance. The candidate will leverage recruitment analytics, applicant tracking systems, and digital technologies to improve hiring effectiveness, reduce time-to-hire, and optimize recruitment outcomes.
The Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and senior stakeholders to understand hiring requirements and deliver high-quality talent pipelines. The role serves as a trusted advisor by providing market intelligence, talent availability insights, and strategic hiring recommendations to leadership teams.
Additional responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing recruitment teams across regions and functions, establishing performance metrics, and building a results-oriented culture focused on talent excellence. The role also ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, diversity and inclusion objectives, recruitment governance frameworks, audit requirements, and ethical hiring standards.
The position involves managing leadership hiring initiatives including executive search, candidate assessments, offer management, onboarding of senior leaders, and building succession-ready leadership talent pools in collaboration with business and HR stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in strategic workforce planning, leadership hiring, succession planning, recruitment analytics, employer branding, HR technology platforms, diversity hiring strategies, vendor management, compensation benchmarking, talent market intelligence, and change management. Strong business acumen, stakeholder management, executive presence, communication skills, agility, resilience, innovation, and team leadership capabilities are essential for success in this role.
