Job Description
Numoo HR is hiring an experienced HR professional for the role of Assistant Manager – HR & Payroll in the Event Management and Experiential Marketing industry. The role involves managing end-to-end HR operations, payroll processing, employee engagement, recruitment, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling a dynamic workforce, managing multiple priorities, and supporting business growth through effective HR practices. Candidates with prior experience in Event Management, Exhibitions, Media, Advertising, Entertainment, or Experiential Marketing companies will be given preference.
Payroll & Compensation Management
Process monthly payroll accurately and within timelines.
Verify attendance, leaves, overtime, incentives, reimbursements, and deductions.
Manage salary processing, salary slips, and payroll reports.
Handle Full & Final settlements, gratuity calculations, and employee benefit administration.
Resolve payroll-related employee queries promptly.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate, operations, production, creative, client servicing, and event execution teams.
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
Source candidates through job portals, social media platforms, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
Conduct screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
Maintain a healthy talent pipeline for ongoing and future hiring needs.
HR Operations
Manage employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to exit.
Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HRMS databases.
Handle attendance, leave management, confirmations, promotions, and transfers.
Generate HR MIS reports and workforce analytics.
Employee Engagement & Culture Building
Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention.
Organize team-building activities, annual events, festival celebrations, employee recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and feedback sessions.
Drive reward and recognition programs to foster a positive work culture.
Support internal communication initiatives and culture-building activities.
Employee Relations
Handle employee grievances and workplace concerns.
Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
Support disciplinary actions and conflict resolution processes.
Build strong relationships with employees across all levels.
Performance Management
Coordinate annual and mid-year appraisal processes.
Support goal setting, KPI tracking, and performance evaluations.
Assist managers in performance improvement and employee development plans.
Training & Development
Identify skill gaps and training needs.
Coordinate internal and external learning programs.
Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Gratuity, Bonus, and other applicable regulations.
Maintain statutory records and ensure timely submissions.
Coordinate audits and labor law compliance activities.
Stay updated with labor law amendments and HR best practices.
Candidates should possess a graduate degree in any discipline. MBA or PGDM in Human Resources is preferred. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in HR Generalist and Payroll functions with experience managing permanent employees, contractual staff, and event-based manpower.
