Job Description
Catering Collective is seeking an Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition to manage end-to-end recruitment activities for banquet venues, Outdoor Catering (ODC), and Corporate Services across unit locations and the corporate office. This role is critical in attracting, hiring, and retaining high-quality talent across frontline, mid-management, and leadership roles aligned with business growth plans. The incumbent will play a key role in building a structured, scalable, and data-driven hiring engine while ensuring speed, quality, and cultural fit.
Talent Acquisition Strategy & Planning
Partner with business heads across Operations, Culinary, Sales, SCM, and Corporate functions to understand manpower plans and hiring forecasts. Build monthly and quarterly hiring plans aligned with AOP and expansion roadmaps. Develop role-wise hiring strategies for banquet operations, service teams, culinary roles including chefs and R&D positions, sales and event teams, corporate functions, and casual workforce.
End-to-End Recruitment Management
Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening to interviews, offers, and onboarding. Ensure adherence to turnaround times and timely closure of positions. Maintain a strong pipeline of ready-to-hire candidates for critical roles and drive bulk hiring for events, seasonal demand, and expansions.
Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
Build multi-channel sourcing strategies using job portals such as Naukri, LinkedIn, and Indeed, social media hiring, industry referrals, vendor partnerships, and staffing agencies. Develop a robust database of chefs, service staff, and operations talent while onboarding reliable manpower vendors for casual staffing.
Employer Branding & Talent Attraction
Collaborate with the Marketing team to strengthen employer brand presence on LinkedIn and social platforms. Showcase company culture, employee stories, and growth opportunities to position the organization as an employer of choice in hospitality.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with Venue Heads, General Managers, Executive Chefs, Sales Leaders, and Corporate Function Heads. Ensure clear understanding of role requirements, quality benchmarks, and timelines while conducting structured interview coordination and feedback loops.
Data, MIS & Reporting
Track and report key recruitment metrics including Time to Hire, Cost per Hire, Offer to Joining Ratio, Source Effectiveness, and New Joiner Attrition. Build weekly and monthly hiring dashboards for leadership review and identify opportunities to improve hiring effectiveness.
Process & Compliance
Standardize recruitment processes across units and maintain compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Onboarding & Experience
Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all hires by coordinating documentation, joining formalities, and first-day readiness with HR Operations and Administration teams. Track new joiner retention and early attrition.
Continuous Improvement
Identify process gaps and implement improvements through technology-driven solutions such as ATS and automation tools while building bench strength for critical roles.
Key Deliverables include hiring turnaround time, quality of hire, offer-to-joining ratio, cost optimization, and maintaining a strong talent pipeline for key roles.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Human Resources or a related field with 3–6 years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Engagement, and Employee Relations. Experience in the hospitality or service industry is preferred. Strong communication, coordination, stakeholder management skills, and proficiency in MS Office and HR survey tools are required.
