TESSOL is hiring a Manager – HR & Administration for its Navi Mumbai location. This is a full-time position reporting to the Founder, COO, or Functional Head. The role is designed for a hands-on HR and Administration professional who can bring structure and consistency to HR operations, recruitment, employee coordination, compliance documentation, and workplace administration. The selected candidate will manage employee onboarding, joining formalities, documentation, confirmations, transfers, letters, attendance, leave records, payroll inputs, and exit processes. Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, coordinating with finance and external partners for payroll and statutory requirements, ensuring HR processes are completed on time, and supporting employees and managers with HR policies and process-related queries.
The role also includes recruitment and hiring coordination across corporate, plant, operations, sales, service, and support teams. The candidate will handle sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, candidate coordination, offer follow-up, joining formalities, recruitment trackers, and job description support. Employee relations responsibilities include handling employee queries, workplace concerns, policy clarifications, employee communication, discipline management, feedback discussions, and employee engagement activities such as celebrations, town halls, surveys, and connect sessions.
Additional responsibilities include performance review coordination, maintaining records of reviews and performance improvement plans, supporting performance documentation, implementing HR policies related to attendance, leave, travel, reimbursements, code of conduct, POSH, exits, and coordinating compliance requirements related to PF, ESIC, gratuity, shops and establishment regulations, and statutory obligations. The position also oversees office administration, housekeeping, security, pantry management, stationery, office supplies, courier services, visitor management, travel support, vendor coordination, billing follow-ups, facility management, and administrative support for plant and operations teams.
The role requires preparation of HR and administration reports covering headcount, hiring status, attendance, attrition, payroll inputs, employee issues, compliance tracking, onboarding, exits, and administrative expenses. Candidates should have strong HR operations experience, recruitment coordination capability, employee relations maturity, administration management skills, vendor coordination experience, HR MIS reporting expertise, and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Experience in manufacturing, logistics, engineering, cold chain, cleantech, startups, or operations-driven organizations is preferred. Experience working with both white-collar and blue-collar or grey-collar employees will be an advantage. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi are required, while Marathi language proficiency will be an added advantage.
