This role sits within the Corporate HR Talent Acquisition function as part of the Early Careers team and plays a key role in attracting and developing the next generation of talent for Pearson.
The successful candidate will attract, engage, and hire high-potential early careers talent including interns, apprentices, and graduates while delivering early careers events and programme sessions that support the development of a strong future talent pipeline aligned with business needs.
Key responsibilities include driving employer branding and attraction campaigns targeted at early careers talent, developing and implementing campus recruitment strategies aligned with business requirements, leading end-to-end recruitment for early careers positions while ensuring a high-quality and inclusive candidate experience, building and managing talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, university partnerships and targeted outreach, planning and delivering early careers events including insight sessions, assessment centres and programme briefings, supporting the Pearson Global Internship Programme end-to-end, building and maintaining relationships with universities and external stakeholders, partnering with hiring managers, HR teams and Early Careers teams to align hiring plans and timelines, ensuring compliance with recruitment processes and governance requirements, contributing to onboarding and programme experience improvements, tracking and reporting hiring activity, utilizing recruitment data to improve outcomes, and staying informed about market trends and best practices in early careers recruitment.
Candidates should possess a strong understanding of early careers recruitment including internships, apprenticeships and graduate programmes, end-to-end recruitment processes, high-volume hiring, assessment centres, university engagement strategies, employer branding, candidate engagement, recruitment metrics, diversity and inclusion principles, and talent pipeline development.
Experience should include end-to-end recruitment in early careers or high-volume hiring environments, stakeholder management, recruitment event planning, assessment centre delivery, talent pipeline management, support of early careers programmes and campaigns, ATS systems usage, recruitment data management, and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with universities, colleges, external partners, global teams or multi-region environments is desirable.
