Job Description
Orange Umbrella – Executive Search is hiring an HR Manager for a Mumbai-based opportunity. The role involves managing the complete HR function, including HR strategy, end-to-end recruitment, Chef hiring, employee relations, payroll, performance management, employee engagement, HR operations, and statutory compliance.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, hands-on, and comfortable managing multiple HR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process across various functions.
• Handle end-to-end Chef hiring, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Build strong management and employee relations and act as a bridge between both.
• Manage employee attendance, leave records, and HR documentation.
• Coordinate and oversee monthly payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement.
• Support employee development, engagement, motivation, and retention initiatives.
• Oversee performance appraisal and performance management systems.
• Ensure HR legal and statutory compliance and maintain accurate employee records.
• Manage employee benefits, wellness programs, and HR initiatives.
• Develop and implement HR policies and processes to support organizational growth.
• Address employee queries and grievances while maintaining a positive workplace environment.
Candidate Requirements:
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in HR Generalist, HR Manager, HRBP, or HR Operations roles.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in recruitment and selection.
• Hands-on experience in Chef hiring.
• Knowledge of payroll and attendance management.
• Strong employee relations and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of HR Operations and statutory compliance.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or related industries will be an added advantage.
Ideal Candidate:
A proactive HR professional with strong expertise in recruitment, Chef hiring, payroll, attendance management, employee relations, HR operations, compliance, and stakeholder management.
