Role Overview:
As an HR Executive at Vaidyiq, you will be responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee engagement and HR administration. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
Manage end-to-end recruitment for sales, operations, technology, marketing, and other business functions.
Understand hiring requirements and prepare job descriptions in coordination with department heads.
Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and other channels.
Screen resumes, conduct initial HR interviews, and coordinate subsequent interview rounds.
Manage interview scheduling, candidate follow-ups, offer rollouts, and joining formalities.
Maintain a healthy candidate pipeline and ensure timely closure of open positions.
HR Operations & Administration:
Manage employee onboarding, documentation, and induction.
Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and HR databases.
Coordinate payroll inputs, employee attendance, and monthly HR reports.
Track probation periods, confirmation dates, and employee exits.
Ensure proper maintenance of HR policies, employee files, and other documentation.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, team activities, and internal communication.
Support performance review cycles and employee feedback processes.
Help foster a positive, productive, and collaborative workplace culture.
HR Compliance & Process Management:
Assist in implementing HR policies and standard operating procedures.
Maintain employee documentation and support applicable statutory compliance.
Track HR metrics such as time-to-hire, offer-to-joining ratio, attrition, and headcount.
Identify opportunities to improve recruitment and HR processes as the organization scales.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of relevant experience in HR, preferably in a startup or fast-paced organization.
Familiarity with MS Excel/Google Sheets and recruitment platforms.
A proactive, accountable, and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred: Experience in startup hiring, bulk hiring, sales recruitment, and HRMS/ATS tools.
