Job Description
Healthians is hiring an experienced Senior Payroll Executive to manage and support end-to-end payroll operations for a PAN India workforce of 3,000ā4,000+ employees. The role requires strong expertise in payroll management, Indian statutory compliance, employee taxation, benefits administration, audits, vendor compliance, and payroll governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
Manage end-to-end monthly payroll for 3,000ā4,000+ employees across PAN India.
Validate attendance and payroll inputs, including arrears, appraisals, joining/retention bonuses, overtime, PLI, reimbursements, and deductions.
Ensure timely processing of employee salaries, reimbursements, incentives, and Full & Final Settlements.
Drive payroll governance and process adherence.
Payroll MIS & Reporting:
Prepare and review Payroll MIS, YTD Salary, reimbursement, and incentive reports for Finance, BI, and Management.
Handle payroll reconciliation and reporting requirements.
Taxation & TDS:
Manage employee TDS processes.
Handle quarterly returns and annual 24Q.
Manage Form 16 processes.
Handle investment declarations and proof processes.
Statutory Compliance:
Ensure timely compliance with PF, ESIC, LWF, Professional Tax, Bonus, Maternity Benefits, POSH, and other statutory requirements.
Manage gratuity, leave encashment, and employee benefit-related processes.
Employee Benefits & Insurance:
Manage GMC, GPA, and GTL, including endorsements, renewals, and claims.
Handle employee benefits and insurance-related activities.
Audits & Vendor Compliance:
Support and coordinate the closure of Internal, Statutory, and Tax Audits.
Review manpower vendor salary costs.
Review statutory compliance documentation submitted by manpower vendors.
Ensure vendor compliance with applicable payroll and statutory requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
Drive stakeholder coordination across HR, Finance, BI, and Business teams.
Ensure smooth and timely execution of payroll and compliance activities.
Required Expertise & Skills:
End-to-end Payroll Management.
Strong knowledge of Indian Statutory Compliance.
TDS, Income Tax, 24Q, and Form 16.
PF, ESIC, PT, and LWF.
Gratuity, Bonus, and Leave Encashment.
Employee Benefits and Insurance.
Payroll MIS and Reconciliation.
Internal, Statutory, and Tax Audits.
Vendor Compliance.
HRMS / Payroll Systems.
Advanced Excel.
Ability to independently manage large-scale payroll operations.
Strong knowledge of Indian payroll compliances.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate should have 5ā6 years of hands-on experience in Payroll & Compliance, strong knowledge of Indian payroll statutory requirements, and the ability to independently manage payroll operations for a large workforce.
