Blue Dart Express Limited (a DHL Group company) is hiring an Assistant Manager – HR Operations to manage core human resources operational processes at the corporate/regional level. This role reports to the Head - HR Operations and is responsible for ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency across employee lifecycle activities (excluding onboarding). The role will lead the HR Operations team, drive HRIS automation and process improvements, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities and Areas of Ownership: Oversee the maintenance and data accuracy of employee records in HR systems for internal transfers, promotions, and personal profile updates. Manage end-to-end offboarding formalities, including clearance tracking, separation documentation, and coordination with Payroll for Full and Final (F&F) settlements. Ensure timely and precise updates of organizational hierarchy and structural changes across HRIS and integrated platforms. Administer HR systems and operational workflows, driving automation and digitization initiatives to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency. Monitor HR system workflows and collaborate with IT and external software vendors to promptly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Ensure strict adherence to statutory compliance mandates related to employee records, labor documentation, and internal HR audit standards. Support the implementation, roll-out, and governance of HR policies, standard operating procedures, and operational guidelines across departments. Supervise the HR ticketing and helpdesk mechanism to ensure employee query resolutions (HRIS, letters, documentation, policy clarifications) strictly meet defined SLAs. Prepare and publish HR operations dashboards, attrition reports, employee movement trackers, and compliance analytics for leadership review. Lead, mentor, and supervise the HR Operations team, setting performance goals, monitoring deliverables, and building operational capability.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications: 6 to 8 years of dedicated experience in HR operations, with at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Graduate degree or MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related discipline. Strong proficiency with modern HRIS platforms, database administration, and HR technology tools. In-depth working knowledge of statutory compliance, HR documentation standards, and employee lifecycle management (excluding onboarding). Strong process orientation, analytical problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail. Demonstrated team leadership, stakeholder management, and clear verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to travel (approx. 25% travel requirement).
