Job Description
Crest Ventures Limited is looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations and employee lifecycle administration at its Nariman Point office in Mumbai. In this role, 70 percent of your responsibilities will focus on comprehensive payroll management. You will serve as the sole custodian of the employee master data across all company entities on the HRMS and manual records, execute monthly payroll runs via an outsourced payroll partner, track employee attendance and leaves, and prepare accurate monthly salary input files. Your duties include verifying monthly salary registers against input sheets, overseeing online salary disbursements, managing TDS calculations, and coordinating with accounts and external consultants for statutory compliance payments including Provident Fund, ESIC, Profession Tax, and MWMF. Additionally, you will handle PF and ESIC challan validations, coordinate with banking partners for new hire account setups, administer staff loans and salary advances, oversee bonus payouts, and manage the full and final (FNF) settlement process with ex-employees. You will also oversee investment declaration and proof collection processes, audit flexi-reimbursement claims, reconcile quarterly Form 24Q TDS data, handle annual statutory filings, and generate management MIS and audit reports. The remaining 30 percent of the role centers on employee lifecycle management, including collecting salary documentation for new joinees, issuing formal letters such as offer, appointment, confirmation, and relieving letters, assisting the Head of HR with appraisal master updates, and acting as the single point of contact (SPOC) for employee payroll queries. Crest Ventures operates in the financial services, real estate, and investment holding industry with an organizational size of 51 to 200 employees.
