Kognitiv Inc. is hiring a Workday Payroll Senior Consultant for a full-time remote opportunity in India. The Workday Payroll Senior Consultant will partner with clients and internal teams to deliver post-production support for the Workday Payroll module. Responsibilities include designing, configuring, testing, and implementing client business requirements within Workday Payroll, conducting client workshops to gather and analyze business requirements, recommending process improvements, implementing system enhancements, assisting clients with testing, providing knowledge transfer, preparing documentation, troubleshooting payroll processes, data issues, calculated fields, reports, business logic, and configurations, and ensuring successful solution delivery using Kognitiv's implementation methodology.
The role also involves collaborating with project teams, recommending Workday best practices, managing multiple concurrent client engagements, meeting project timelines, performing research and root cause analysis, implementing corrective measures, contributing to the organization's knowledge repository, facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions, mentoring team members, achieving key performance indicators including utilization, service levels and customer satisfaction, and demonstrating ownership in delivering high-quality client solutions.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience leading Workday implementations, supporting Workday Post Production or Application Management Services, or working as a Workday client. Applicants must possess experience configuring Workday Payroll and Security, developing Custom Reports, Dashboards, and Calculated Fields, excellent verbal and written communication skills, consulting and stakeholder management abilities, experience delivering complex business solutions, strong client relationship management skills, organizational and prioritization abilities, initiative to develop expertise across Workday modules, the ability to manage multiple parallel projects independently, experience working in remote teams, adaptability to fast-paced environments, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and willingness to travel up to 5 percent annually.
