Location: Delhi
Position Summary
The Lead - Employee Experience will oversee and strengthen the organization's HR operations including payroll, statutory compliance, employee lifecycle management, and HR systems. The role will ensure efficient delivery of HR services across locations while maintaining full compliance with labour laws and organizational policies. This position will supervise HR operations processes, resolve complex or escalated HR matters, and ensure clear and consistent HR communication across the organization. The incumbent will work closely with the Employee Experience team, Finance, and program leadership to ensure smooth HR functioning across multiple states. The role requires strong operational leadership, payroll and compliance expertise, HR systems knowledge, and the ability to manage large-scale HR processes in a multi-location environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, employee records, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and exit management.
Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements.
Ensure payroll is processed through HRMS and integrated with finance systems where required.
Review payroll inputs, deductions, reimbursements, and final outputs prior to processing.
Ensure timely TDS deductions, collection of investment declarations, and issuance of Form 16.
Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations across locations.
Support leadership in communicating HR policies and operational guidelines across teams.
Collaborate closely with Finance, Program teams, and external partners to ensure smooth operational functioning.
Candidate Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
8 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, with strong expertise in HR operations, payroll, and statutory compliance.
Prior experience managing HR processes in large NGOs or multi-location organizations is preferred.
Proficiency in HRMS platforms, payroll systems, and advanced MS Excel.
