MatTrade Resources Private Limited is hiring a Head ā Human Resources to lead and build the HR function for its fast-growing commodity trading and industrial raw material business with multi-location operations. Candidates with experience in Steel Manufacturing, Commodity Trading, Raw Material, Metals, Mining or Industrial Manufacturing industries will be preferred. The role requires strong expertise in talent acquisition, HR governance, workforce management, statutory compliance, performance management and HR systems implementation.
The selected candidate will lead hiring across sales, procurement, logistics, finance, operations, technology and leadership functions while building talent pipelines through competitor organizations and industry networks. The role includes driving manpower planning, organizational structuring and workforce budgeting to support business growth.
The Head ā Human Resources will develop HR policies, standard operating procedures, approval matrices and governance frameworks while managing attendance, leave, travel, reimbursements, disciplinary processes and employee documentation. The role also involves building scalable HR systems to support multi-location operations.
Key responsibilities include designing KRA and KPI frameworks, implementing performance appraisal systems, developing compensation structures, incentive plans and employee retention programs while driving payroll governance and a performance-driven culture across the organization.
The role requires ensuring compliance with labour laws, PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, POSH regulations, payroll compliance and workforce regulations. The selected candidate will manage employee relations, conflict resolution, employee engagement and retention initiatives while fostering a productive workplace environment.
The Head ā Human Resources will also lead HRMS implementation, digitization initiatives, HR dashboards, workforce analytics, reporting systems and provide HR process support during ERP implementation.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5ā7 years of Human Resources experience with mandatory experience in Steel Manufacturing, Commodity Trading, Raw Material, Metals, Mining or Industrial Manufacturing sectors. Experience managing multi-location workforces and growth-stage organizations is essential. Candidates with an MBA or PGDM in Human Resources from reputed institutes and additional labour law certifications will be preferred. Strong expertise in leadership hiring, HR strategy, organizational development, labour law compliance, payroll management, HRMS implementation, performance management systems and stakeholder management is required.
