Job Description
MatchLab Talent is hiring an HR Executive for its office in Wadgaon Sheri, Pune. The role focuses on day-to-day administrative processes, systems and compliance activities that enable smooth employee management throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit. The selected candidate will be responsible for HR Operations, Payroll Processing, Statutory Compliance, Employee Lifecycle Management, Attendance and Leave Management, HRIS administration and Vendor Management.
Key responsibilities include payroll and benefits administration, assisting in processing salary components, deductions and reimbursements, and addressing employee queries related to salary, deductions and tax structure. The role involves preparing documentation for internal and external audits, maintaining compliance records for PF, PT, ESIC and other statutory requirements, and ensuring accuracy and security of employee records.
The candidate will manage employee onboarding and exit documentation, conduct background verification for new employees, handle resignation processes and support employee lifecycle activities. Responsibilities also include monitoring attendance systems, generating monthly payroll inputs, conducting leave audits and enforcing leave policies.
The position requires maintaining employee data in HRMS platforms, ensuring data accuracy and security, verifying HR-related invoices for benefits and outsourcing services, maintaining payment records and ensuring timely vendor settlements.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field. MBA-HR is preferred and additional knowledge of finance or accounting is advantageous. Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience in HR Operations or Recruitment, preferably within finance, banking, accounting or audit firms. Strong organizational skills, advanced MS Excel knowledge including formulas and pivot tables, Google Sheets expertise and familiarity with ATS tools are required. Knowledge of Pune's finance job market, LinkedIn, Naukri and finance certifications such as CA, CFA and CPA will be an added advantage.
