As the HRBP Manager, the selected candidate will partner with the Ground Operations team employed across hostels and hotels as well as critical Head Office functions including Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Business Development, Marketing, and Product teams. The role is responsible for aligning HR strategy with business outcomes through strategic HR advisory and execution ownership across performance management, talent development, culture and engagement, workforce planning, employee relations, grievance handling, and organizational change initiatives. The position reports directly to the CHRO and serves as the people partner for assigned functions.
Key responsibilities include partnering with business leaders to understand organizational goals and translating them into HR initiatives, influencing workforce planning and HR decisions to improve organizational performance and agility, leading workforce planning activities based on business requirements, attrition trends, and growth plans, driving succession planning, career pathing, and high-potential talent development programs, and collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team on competency forecasting and future workforce readiness.
The role also includes driving performance management processes such as goal setting, performance reviews, calibration exercises, and development planning, advising leaders on coaching and capability development, partnering with the Learning and Development team to strengthen leadership pipelines and employee engagement, acting as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and HR policies, ensuring compliance with Indian labour laws and statutory requirements, supporting disciplinary processes, driving organizational change initiatives, facilitating business transformation programs, and partnering with Centres of Excellence including Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and Compensation and Benefits teams to strengthen culture and engagement initiatives.
Candidates should possess an MBA or PGDM in Human Resources or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR role. Strong expertise in labour laws, compliance management, stakeholder management, workforce planning, performance management, talent development, coaching, communication, analytical thinking, and influencing skills is required. Hospitality industry experience will be an advantage.
