Job Description
The Akanksha Foundation is hiring a Senior Associate - Human Resources for its Pune schools. The selected candidate will oversee and support Human Resources activities including recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, data management, performance management, employee engagement and other HR initiatives across assigned schools. Responsibilities include partnering with school leaders to identify staffing needs, managing end-to-end recruitment, developing proactive hiring plans for critical positions, tracking recruitment metrics, overseeing onboarding, induction, payroll coordination, exit formalities and HR documentation. The role also involves ensuring compliance with statutory requirements including Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance, Shops and Establishments Act and POSH regulations, maintaining HR MIS and personnel records, supporting audits, addressing employee concerns, promoting employee engagement and a positive work culture, implementing HR policies, supporting organizational HR initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve HR systems and processes. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders. Experience in the development or non-profit sector will be preferred. Education Management and Nonprofit Organization Management. 1,001–5,000 employees.
