UPL is hiring a Talent Management Specialist for its Pune District office. The role is responsible for working with the Global Lead / Specialist Talent Management and supporting them for the end-to-end management of enterprise-wide talent development programs, including stakeholder engagement, reporting and delivery of the annual talent review process. The position ensures seamless and timely execution of multiple talent initiatives while coordinating with global business and HR teams, external vendors and technology partners.
Responsibilities include managing talent development programs, ensuring execution charter and timelines for multiple programs are adhered to, driving program governance by tracking key milestones such as program launches, sponsorship engagements, leadership sessions, feedback and graduations. The candidate will ensure adherence to program objectives, timelines and quality standards across all stages of delivery.
The role also involves stakeholder management by partnering with external vendors to manage scheduling, logistics, communications and delivery, ensuring a consistent and high-quality participant experience. Support Global Lead in engaging and managing internal stakeholders across business and HR through structured, timely and clear communication on program objectives, processes, timelines and outcomes. Act as a central point of coordination to align expectations and resolve program/process queries across regions and platforms.
The candidate will collaborate with HR Tech team and BPT team to support the design, development, testing and deployment of talent dashboards and reports. Establish and maintain a robust cadence for talent data collection, validation and system updates by partnering with vendors, HRBPs, HR Tech team and GBS. Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of talent data to enable informed decision-making and governance. Manage preparedness for various senior leader deliverables.
Talent review process responsibilities include managing end-to-end scheduling, communications and coordination for talent review cycles, including training, calibration sessions and review forums. Partner with HR POCs to validate and finalize participant populations for talent reviews and calibration discussions. Ensure smooth execution of the talent review process through disciplined planning, tracking and stakeholder alignment.
Qualifications include degree in human resources, with experience in HRBP and L&D areas. Required skills include 4-5 years of proven project management skills with ability to manage several parallel timelines for different programs, strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills, exposure to HRMS preferably SuccessFactors, accountability, ownership, attention to detail, stakeholder management, operational rigor, organizational skills, communication and collaboration skills.
