The Chief People Officer will serve as a member of the executive leadership team and act as the principal architect of Yotta’s People & Culture strategy. This role will drive organizational readiness for hypergrowth while leading the full spectrum of human capital strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership, operational excellence, governance expertise, and a people-centric approach to support transformational growth and IPO readiness.
People Care, Culture & Wellbeing
Define and own Yotta’s enterprise-wide people strategy aligned with 3–5-year business objectives, growth ambitions, and IPO plans.
Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Committee on people strategy, leadership, and organizational effectiveness.
Embed company values including Customer Centricity, Agility, Integrity, Innovation, Happiness for All, Trust, and Transparency across the employee lifecycle.
Lead large-scale organizational transformation and culture change initiatives.
Build psychologically safe workplaces through wellbeing programs and employee listening mechanisms.
Create structured communication channels including pulse surveys, town halls, skip-level meetings, and employee forums.
Drive recognition and celebration initiatives aligned with organizational values.
HR Leadership & Operations Excellence
Oversee Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll Governance, and HR Compliance.
Build and scale HR operations capable of supporting workforce growth from approximately 1,500 to over 3,000 employees.
Develop, implement, and govern comprehensive HR policies and processes.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory mandates, and corporate governance requirements.
Organization Design & Workforce Planning
Design and continuously evolve organizational structures supporting business expansion.
Lead workforce planning, talent forecasting, and skill gap analysis.
Build succession plans and leadership continuity frameworks.
Talent, Performance & Leadership Development
Oversee performance management, promotions, career architecture, internal mobility, and talent development frameworks.
Lead leadership development initiatives aligned with future business strategy.
Build a culture of continuous learning through mentoring, coaching, and development programs.
Implement robust OKR and goal-setting frameworks.
IPO Readiness & HR Governance
Lead all IPO-related HR diligence activities.
Partner with legal advisors, auditors, and finance teams to ensure HR audit readiness and compliance.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, SEBI regulations, employee benefits disclosures, and governance requirements.
Design, implement, and govern ESOP frameworks including grant management, vesting schedules, compliance, valuation support, and employee communication.
Develop HR operating models suitable for public company standards including investor-facing people metrics and disclosure requirements.
Employee Experience, Engagement & Employer Brand
Build a high-performance, inclusive, and engaging workplace.
Drive retention, engagement, and employee experience initiatives.
Strengthen employer branding and Employee Value Proposition in alignment with IPO objectives.
Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across all people practices.
Compensation, Rewards & Governance
Design and govern compensation, benefits, incentive plans, and recognition programs.
Ensure fairness, internal equity, and regulatory compliance.
Support executive compensation reviews and Board-level documentation.
Data, Analytics & Digital HR
Develop people analytics functions, dashboards, scorecards, and predictive workforce models.
Lead HR digitization, HRIS modernization, and workflow automation initiatives.
Leverage workforce data to improve engagement, performance, and operational effectiveness.
Stakeholder Partnership & Team Leadership
Lead and develop a high-performing People & Culture leadership team.
Build strategic partnerships across business units and functions.
Support enterprise risk management, business continuity, data privacy, and governance initiatives.

Qualifications
MBA or Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Management, or related field from a premier institution.
18–22 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
Minimum 5 years in CHRO, Deputy CHRO, or equivalent senior leadership roles.
Experience in high-growth technology, cloud, data centre, infrastructure, or related industries preferred.
Prior IPO experience from an HR leadership perspective is highly desirable.
