Job Description
Headway Consult is hiring a VP (HR & Operations) professional for an education-sector organization. The role combines HR leadership with organizational and academic operations, requiring the candidate to manage HR functions, compliance, employee-related matters, admissions, accreditation, program documentation and interdepartmental coordination.
The selected candidate will work closely with multiple departments to ensure effective HR management, smooth academic-program operations, admissions, student support and organizational compliance.
Key Responsibilities
HR Management
Lead core HR functions including Talent Acquisition, payroll management, policy implementation and compliance.
Handle employee grievance redressal and employee-related concerns.
Manage performance appraisal processes.
Maintain and manage employee records and HR documentation.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across HR and organizational processes.
Coordinate with different departments on HR and organizational requirements.
Accreditation & Compliance
Manage end-to-end accreditation processes.
Handle CPD and HSSC documentation, coordination and submissions.
Ensure documentation is completed accurately and submitted within required timelines.
Maintain relevant academic and accreditation records.
Interdepartmental Coordination
Coordinate between Academics, Admissions, Operations, Marketing, Creative, Technical, Finance and Administration teams.
Ensure smooth communication and execution of cross-functional activities.
Support organizational initiatives requiring coordination between multiple departments.
Program & Academic Operations
Manage program documentation for MenoMind/PGDMM, Psycho-Oncology and future academic initiatives.
Oversee course operations, including course flow, residential programs and live lectures.
Track payments and coordinate related operational activities.
Ensure smooth execution of academic programs.
Admissions & Student Management
Manage end-to-end admissions for Psycho-Oncology, POFA, MenoMind/PGDMM and future academic programs.
Ensure smooth admission processing and work toward defined conversion targets.
Oversee post-admission coordination.
Handle student queries, onboarding and ongoing student support.
Maintain student data and records, including HSSC data and other academic documentation.
Marketing & Lead Generation
Contribute to the organization's social media strategy.
Support initiatives aimed at increasing reach and generating leads for academic program admissions.
Coordinate with marketing and creative teams for admission-related initiatives.
